Sam had a fun week playing with friends. At Lukes house on Monday; Aiden on Tuesday; Aiden on Wednesday at Aiden's house; Ethan all day on Thursday; and Luke on Friday. Life is great.
For Ali too. So pretty and enjoying her 10ager life.
Spencer had a super duper Wednesday. He was selected as one of the 15 Students of the Month at Greenspun Middle School. I was privileged to go to a luncheon in their honor. It was at a nice Italian restaurant. We ate yummy food and listened to a guest speaker, Green Valley High's principal, and then they gave out the awards. The teacher that nominated Spencer said, "Spencer is a hard worker and one of the fastest typest in the class (115 words per minute). He has set high standards for himself and he strives to meet them! He is always willing to go beyond what is expected of him and is always available to help anyone who is having any difficulty with an assignment." Music to my ears.
Today, actually February 1st, was so beautiful. Spencer, Sammy and Dave had a fun water fight. -Still too cold for Ali and I, but they had fun. Next week is supposed to be close to 70 degrees -wowee!

Music to my ears.Speaking of music, we went to Willy Wonka, the musical put on by Green Valley High. Spencer was not very happy that I'd gotten tickets for a Friday night. We had good seats, 3rd row smack in the center. When we first got there I knew I made a mistake not getting isle seats -we had Sam with us. Spencer sat next to me and Sam was on my lap. Ali was on my other side, but Dave traded her places so she could see better. It wasn't looking good for a successful evening. After each act, however, Spencer said how awesome it was. He especially liked it when Charlie and Grandpa Joe were flying with the bubbles -something he wanted to try someday. Sam was actually riveted as well. He loved the bright colors and wonderful singing. He sat on Dave's lap after intermission and amazingly continued to do so good. Ali thought it was really, really good and enjoyed it a lot. We had a great time and we were all so glad we came. Thanks Green Valley for a spectacular performance!
